Welcome! ¡Bienvenido!

I am Pablo Rodriguez Fernandez, a Postdoctoral Associate at the Plasma Science and Fusion Center at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

My doctoral research focused on understanding turbulence and transport in magnetically confined plasmas, particularly during transient perturbations in the Alcator C-Mod and DIII-D tokamaks. I am currently interested in the integrated modeling of fusion reactors and the use of machine learning algorithms and surrogate models for optimization.
